a new hiking place
After work, I met a coworker for a walk around a pond in the next town over from where we work. Lauren had told me about this place, but I never imagined how beautiful, or how BIG it was! We walked for about an hour; we saw ducks and geese and swans, fishermen, bird dogs, and rollerbladers, oh my!
It was quite windy and the water was wicked choppy, but it added to the beauty of the place.
I’ll be taking Wolf and Max there this weekend, if the weather holds

I love finding new places to walk. Sometimes we’ll drive 30-40 minutes across the city to find new neighborhoods or parks to walk in.
