somewhat worse for wear…
This week, Carmi’s Thematic Photographic prompt is “somewhat worse for wear”.
My foot (feet, really, and knees) are somewhat worse for wear. They LOOK ok on the outside…but inside? The knee is bone on bone, and sometimes I get wicked cramps in my foot (tried potassium, didn’t help). Perils of aging, I guess!

In this shot, we were walking down the beach when a cramp struck, so Dave was massaging it out.
In this one, I’m not sure if it was the ivy or the brick wall that was somewhat worse for wear…I’d say ivy since the wall is still standing!

Love the brick wall and ivy! And the tired foot! Hope the massage helped.

LOLWhen you first open the post and read the title all you see is Dave! It’s not ’til you scroll down that you see your foot. LOL Foot cramps are the worst though. I have had them on the top of the foot going up the front of my shin, those you can’t stretch out or stand on to help subside. Once I got proper arch supports mine stopped though. You may have to give up flip flops.

That brick looks like it’s got some life left in it yet.
I too get wicked foot cramps, plus leg cramps and finger cramps. My doctor suggested I might be dehydrated and recommended drinking about 80 oz. of water a day. It seems to be working (although the many pit stops make for an interesting/inconvenient side effect!). You might give it a try…
Oh yeah, and I mostly can’t wear flip flops these days either.

We have two sycamore trees next door where the ivy is dying off so I’ve missed another trick. Your wall will survive for some time yet.

Haha!
“My left foot” is a photo category on my blog. It’s all I’m willing to show the world!
I hope it all gets better for you, Janet.
