3 things
Recently I took Wolf for a long walk through the woods and around the neighborhood. While walking, I was thinking about why we hold on to the harsh things people say to us and reflect back on them…why don’t we, instead, hold on the the loving things people say and reflect back on them? I’m going to give it a try!
Was going through my Flickr account today looking for a photo when I came across these two shots:

Back when Max was still with us…and could walk! What a difference a year makes. Miss you, Maxiepad!

Dave is a sun worshipper…yes, yes, I know. Anyway, he still had a tan line in November, which is saying something for Massachusetts!
How are you doing?

There are some dogs that will be with us until the day we die, even though they have passed. I’m thinking that Maxi was one of those.

I can tell that Max was inching forward as the boy looked away each time. Can’t have been long after that he was face down in that popcorn bowl!

I don’t have the answers. But it says a lot about the person who asks the hard questions!
I’m gearing up to head to the land of sun for a bit. Visiting my dad while I still can.

You would adore dialectical behavioral therapy. There are all kinds of strategies for letting negative stuff go–Teflon mind is my husband’s favorite strategy right now.

It’s usually the hardest to let go of the negative things that we actually kinda sorta believe about ourselves. Oh, well, keep practicing!

I love focusing on the loving things and love that you are reminding me to do that!
My other half always has a tan line. And he lives about 40 minutes north of you!

I need to let go on some harsh things that were said to me that I seem to be with me way too long. I have lots of good memories with others to keep me alive and stay positive to what is good in life

I miss my dog even after a dozen years.
I agree with you about focusing on the loving things that are said.
