Fresh!

fresh strawberries with balsamic vinegar and sugar
1 large pack of strawberries
3-4 tbls balsamic vinegar
3-4 tbls sugar
Wash berries, cut off tops, place in glass bowl, sprinkle with sugar & balsamic vinegar and toss gently. Store covered in fridge a few hours or overnight.
Also, another definition of “fresh”

I had some strawberries at a lunch last week–they were served with a dressing that was very similar. So delish!

Hmmm … I usually eat my strawberries ’straight after washing’ w/o anything added … but perhaps I’ll give your recipe a try.

Mmm, I love fresh strawberries. We’ve been marinating them in red wine instead of the balsamic. Yummy on ice cream!
