The housework must have been torturous. Not that there was a choice.

I am now feeling guilty for grouchy feelings while I took the pile of dirty dishes in the sink, rinsed them off, and put them into the dishwasher.

A pillow covered with feathers ? My grandma had pillows but the feathers were inside.
I am glad that I wasn’t a woman at that time, or if I had to then at least a princess !

These might have been written in a blog or Facebook “Wall” if it were today. I like this kind of thing(I collect postcards and it is always a bonus to find a really old one with a message on it)

How cool! What amazes me the most is that the draw to talk about other people was present in 1910 as it is now! I guess human’s haven’t changed much.

Wow. Even so, same old same old stuff.

I find this kind of thing utterly fascinating. What people did, what they thought, how they behaved etc in times past. 1910 doesn’t seem that ancient when you see it written on the page, but it’s *GASP* a hundred years ago! Yikes…
I wonder what people will be left with from this era? So many of us only ever write this kind of thing on the computer.
