it’s beginning to look a lot like…
Just another Manic Monday!
What is your greatest strength? Hmmm…my ability to never be bored.
What is your worst weakness? Hmmm…low self esteem, definitely!
Is your favorite time the past, present or the future? Oh, the past, definitely. There are so many places I’ve gone, so many things I’ve seen and experienced, so many amazing memories. Lots of not so amazing ones, too, but that’s the good thing about memories…you can pick and choose the ones you like. The present is a little scary for me right now…as is the future.
How was your weekend? This morning, I watched the season finale of Dexter…OMG!!! I won’t spoil it for anyone but…holy OMG!
Max is here for awhile, I’ve missed him! Wolf had a seizure yesterday, scary but he’s ok. I gave him a tab of melatonin last night to help him sleep because he’s been scared of the noise the heater makes to the point of not sleeping through the night (found him in the bathtub the night before last…he was scratching at the bottom of the tub like he was trying to dig thru it)…and he slept through the night, woohoo!
Met Michelle at Barnes & Noble on Sunday…it’s kind of weird why…when my Mom passed away in December of 2005, Michelle and I were just walking into Barnes & Noble to do some shopping…and I got the phone call, told Michelle and said…but finish your shopping first, which she absolutely said NO, do you want me to go with you and I said yes, please. So each year, she remembers and asks to meet me at B&N…see, weird, but I love that she does this! Later, Maureen & Diane came over and we were going to have dinner at Cobblestones…but it wasn’t open…on a Sunday night! WTH! As we drove around Lowell, we found lots of places that weren’t open; and ended up at a BBQ place.
Saturday night , I played Scattergories with Tara, Tonya & Greg…forgot how much I loved that game! Stopped by Barnes & Noble to get more Christmas cards…ran out LOL.

what a nice friend you have, and poor wolf. My dad passed in March of 2005. Sad times.

You have a wonderful friend.
My neighbor lost her mother a few days ago (and her father passed earlier this year). I wish I knew of something specific I could do for her.
Does Max help to comfort Wolf?

I love the B&N tradition. There’s got to be something comforting in it — and besides, it’s fun!

I love that Barnes & Noble tradition. How cool. Hope Wolf is on the mend.

Ooooh, I love your strength! That’s a good one!
Hope Wolf is on the mend soon.

Scattergories is one of my favorite games. Though I’ve been known to have an answer voted down for too much creativity!

Well I’m glad Wolf has the comfort of your tub to make him feel safe. Did he go through tornado training some time to know that his a safe place to go when danger strikes? Poor guy. I smile whenever I remember that photo of him peaking from behind the shower curtain hiding from the fly.
And I am now going to bump Dexter up in the queue – we are forever behind in that series.

Poor Wolf, is he feeling better now?
That’s a neat little tradition of the B&N thing – I think doing it in whatever way you feel is best is ultimately the best.
I’m glad I didn’t play scattegories with you, I’m awful at that game!

Is Wolf ok now? How scary, for both of you!
OK, aren’t we getting past #2 yet?
I don’t think the B&N thing is weird at all. It’s sweet and touching and a great idea.
