What Is It Wednesday #144 (aka the last one of 2008!)
Here’s last Wednesday’s picture:

And this is what it was cropped from:

cinnamon, cloves and ginger; the holy trinity of Christmas cookies! (plus sea salt). Add them to a few other ingredients and you get this:

Molasses crisps, my favorite cookie of all time
One person got it exactly – Amy: “Ginger, cinnamon, clove, and salt??”
3rdEyeMuse had an interesting answer: “the palette for autumn?“. I liked the poetry of that!
So…

What is it?
If you don’t see your comments, don’t worry…I’m most likely moderating them…or not! I like to keep you on your toes!
I hope you all have a very enjoyable and safe New Year’s Eve and that 2009 finds you healthy and happy and doing well!

Vials of my blood after being tested and run through a centrifuge. Yeah, some of it is black. I’m…unusual.

I am . . . stumped.

It looks like those test tube shot glasses, that you put in larger bowl for serving. I may be way off base.
Happy New Year!

Those little sample bottles of oils/scents that you get. They have a name but, in my horribly hungover state, I can’t remember it.
Happy New Year!!

Colored bottles looking from the underside of a glass table…
I’m on heavy duty painkillers at the moment, so it’s the best I can do!
Happy New Year!

Yum on the cookies. Um… hot glue sticks?
January 1st, 2009 at 10:43 pm
Gee it’s been awhile since I’ve been here. Sorry about that. Life ya know.
I have no idea what that is, but I do know the episode you missed will be on again next Thursday.

That’s my “most easy to make”, signature cookie, too! (I call them “Molasses Crinkles” from the recipe in my old Fannie Farmer cookbook)
As for guessing…I was on the right track(spices) but thought it was dried mustard, cumin and chili powder–not a good combination for cookies.
