You can find the Friday Fill-Ins here!
1. My favorite food seasoning is not limited to one thing, but includes so may herbs and spices.
2. Occasional quiet is music to my ears.
3. Lucky is as lucky does LOL.
4. Equality is something I take very seriously.
5. Many people are ruled by things they want to believe rather than by what is true.
6. Halloween candy was the last thing I bought at the store.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to watching the trick or treaters, tomorrow my plans include maybe going to Martha’s Vineyard and Sunday, I want to take the dogs for a long walk!
It wouldn’t be Halloween with a scary picture:

Martha’s Vineyard, how lovely. Enjoy your weekend, love the photo!

Well well well, we match exactly on #6.
Capt. Jack was here handing out candy but we hardly had any trick or treaters last night. I think he scared most of them away, with the exception of the pirates he has now recruited and training. Anyways, I just told him how you were going to go to Martha’s Vineyard – and he wants to go. He asked what sort of wine do they have there. I told him it was an island then showed him on the map.
He thinks he has buried treasure there and said that he would love to sail on down, I suggested that maybe he should pick you up for a “joy ride on the Atlantic” and maybe you would like to go “plundering” with him (not too sure if he means plundering for actual treasures or trick or treats). Sounds like some weekend fun — so what do you say? He needs to set up a time, pick up is at Boston Harbor.
And if you are interested — I have a scary story about my “misadventure” at the Hancock Tower, Boston. It is under Heads or Tails — I don’t know if I can use html for links in your blog? yes or no? Tell me. LOL

Happy Howl-o-ween! I was going to say the same thing for #3! :p
Hope you have a great weekend! Tonight, Dannan and I will be holed up in the basement, tv and white noise machine turned up loud so he doesn’t freak out over the fireworks, which have already started. (What is wrong with these kids, it’s not dark yet!)

Heyas!!! I was wondering where your goodies were! And I had no idea that you were this Janet! Good to read you again!
October 31st, 2008 at 5:16 pm
Hi Janet :} Happy Halloween girl,
I really like #3 and #5 how true. Today is my ex’s birthday and my lucky day, someone just wispered his home address in my ear, hope things are going to move from now on
Last week I was next to a red tree like in your photo and my batteries died right then, I’ll have to go back and take a shot. In the meanwhile I am enjoying watching your beautiful halloween photo. Wolf looks spooked, as he is looking over his shoulder
have a nice week-end
October 31st, 2008 at 5:40 pm
Wahhh-Hoooo! Happy Halloween!! Love your photo, it gives one the impression that some entity may be lurking in that red tree…hmmm…SPOOKY!
I love your answers and in total agreement with #2,4,5 !
Have a wonderful weekend..and I hope to see some photos of Martha’s Vineyard

November 1st, 2008 at 9:21 am
LOL, we have the same #2 and #7.
November 1st, 2008 at 10:12 am
Love your answer to #5…..
That shot is kind of scary. Your puppy looks like he is not too sure what is back there.
I hope your visit to Martha’a Vineyard is great!

Very mysterious. Makes me wonder what the dog is looking at and what’s lurking behind the bush. I love the contrast between the beautiful colors and the foreboding stones lined up like a force to be reckoned with.
November 3rd, 2008 at 12:58 pm
As you can imagine, I am a strong believer in #4
