It’s Monday again and you know what that means…
Got to be to work by nine
And if I had an air-o-plane
I still couldn’t make it on time
Just another Manic Monday…
Is there something you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it? Yup, and it’s to lose weight. And I really don’t know why…but I.need.to.do.it.
If you could make any fictional character come to life, which one would it be? Hmmm…so many of my favorite fictional characters HAVE come to life…Bilbo was amazing! I really can’t think of one that hasn’t, isn’t that bad?
If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be and how long would it take you to spend the $10,000? Something like Lowe’s or the equivalent…I’d get me a contractor to fix up the house and just like that, $10,000 would be gone!
Name three things you wanted as a child but never got. 1. An easy bake oven; 2. More siblings; 3. a horse.
Lisa is hosting this week’s Fun Monday challenge: “What is one thing you would like to ask your readers? Come up with a question to pose to your visitors and throw it out there on Monday. As we’re all visiting each other’s Fun Monday posts we should answer the various questions we come across.”
Here’s my question to you readers: What one word would you use to describe the person who writes this blog?

I LOVED my Easy Bake oven. The stuff tasted like crap, but still…fun!
One word? Just one? Vivacious.
August 18th, 2008 at 10:26 am
I wanted an Easy Bake oven too, but never got one.
My cousin had one though.
One word is “magical”
I gave you an award from my blog Janet.

I should buy my girls an Easy Bake oven, they love to cook.
Good post today! Have a great week.
My MM post…

Can I just tell you right now how bad I wanted an Easy Bake Oven?
B.A.D.
I love your answer for the second question.
August 18th, 2008 at 10:53 am
“Vivacious” came to my mind too.
August 18th, 2008 at 11:03 am
You? Talented.
August 18th, 2008 at 11:21 am

August 18th, 2008 at 11:22 am

August 18th, 2008 at 11:46 am
One word: unique
August 18th, 2008 at 12:07 pm

August 18th, 2008 at 1:32 pm
I had an Easy Bake Oven..it didnt work too well.
August 18th, 2008 at 1:37 pm
My first thought was talented too. Or how about a simple one – fun!
August 18th, 2008 at 2:30 pm
It is indeed Monday again…oh my! That trip back from St. Louis made for a late night and I am sleepy today…but it was well worth it.
One word, eh? How about shutterbug?!?!
August 18th, 2008 at 2:39 pm
I always wanted more siblings too – I mean any would have done
One word to describe you!! Only one!! Awesomesuperduperbestest!!
August 18th, 2008 at 3:07 pm
One word?? Artistic, guess that will do for now.
August 18th, 2008 at 3:27 pm
I asked for a horse every year…and was told every year that I could have one as soon as the fruit trees grew. Every spring my father would plant more young fruit trees.
I would have used an Easy Bake Oven for experiments! LOL
And one word to describe you? Enchanted.
August 18th, 2008 at 3:31 pm
Actually, as I thought more about it I couldn’t get ‘photoelectric’ out of my mind. It covers the photo thing in an odd way and also means “pertaining to the electronic or other electric effects produced by light” which, if used out of it’s normal context, really fits you. Your photos certainly are produced using electric effects by the light of your creativity and in turn produce light in the magical sort of way that a person who takes great pics can do. I like it. That fits!

Is there something you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it?
Own my own home – I am working on it – the amount of money needed is the reason it hasn’t happened yet!
If you could make any fictional character come to life, which one would it be?
I think it would be Winnie the Pooh, because really we can all use a friend like that!
If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be and how long would it take you to spend the $10,000?
It would be a toss up between Home Depot and Ikea I think. Maybe Pottery Barn. Ahh the choices….
Name three things you wanted as a child but never got.
August 18th, 2008 at 4:10 pm
Oops forgot the last one…3 things I wanted as a child:
A dog
…really that is the only thing I remember really wanting….
The one word I would use to describe the person who writes this blog would be genuine.
August 18th, 2008 at 6:02 pm
One word? Can I choose two… I’ll explain.
Eccentric – because you have so many interests, talents and experiences with what you have done in life.
Wonderful – just the way you are. I feel very fortunate to have you as my friend! And Connor loves his eccentric Aunty Janet! He’ll one day learn he can go to you and Alissa about cool things while his over-planning mom is worrying away.
August 18th, 2008 at 6:34 pm
I didnt’ get an easy bake either, so as soon as my daughter was old enough she got one. I think I enjoyed it as much as her.
August 18th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
I have 5 siblings. At the time, I would have given you at least one. Now I’m quite happy to keep them. I’ve only been reading for a while, but the one word from here would be *creative*.
Happy Monday.
August 18th, 2008 at 7:41 pm
You know, I did have that Easy Bake Oven. It really wasn’t so great. Didn’t we use mine together?
August 18th, 2008 at 11:09 pm
Oooh – Lowes! Why didn’t I think of that! Throughout August when we were working on our projects, I felt like I should have my paychecks direct deposited to either Lowes or Home Depot!
One word: interesting!
August 19th, 2008 at 8:38 am
I like the “ovenless” club idea!
One word: I was going to say vivacious….but since that has already been said…enthusiastic. Creative goes without saying!
August 19th, 2008 at 10:48 pm
the word that comes to mind is entertaining. I’ve only been reading for a week or two but I always find a nice escape here when I need one.
August 20th, 2008 at 11:31 am
Is there something you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it? Yes, going to Maine and Oregon – both places are very far away and in opposite directions.
If you could make any fictional character come to life, which one would it be? Odd Thomas (from Koontz’s books)
If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be and how long would it take you to spend the $10,000? Just one store? Well, either Best Buy in about 15 minutes or JoAnne’s in a few hours.
Name three things you wanted as a child but never got. 1. a big brother; 2. more vacations 3. a horse.
What one word would you use to describe the person who writes this blog? Unique!
August 23rd, 2008 at 1:21 pm
Cool, because you’ve read the Odd Thomas books which I love too. Sorry I’m so late. It’s been one of those weeks.
