Love Thursday

All photos of weddings or engagements or portraits of happy couples
I’m never comfortable being the lone photographer at a wedding. My low self esteem issues totally get in the way. I mean, hey, if Pioneer Woman doesn’t feel comfortable photographing a friend’s wedding, what the HELL am I doing then?
Having said that, I enjoy the shots that are different from the norm…and I get to do that with friends
If you’d like to join in: Love Thursday!

One of these couples is not quite the same as the others. Can’t quite put my finger on what the difference is….

I haven’t been to a wedding in years and years. I personally like the photo of Skelley’s wedding- I bet that one was a blast!

Wow. Just. Wow, Janet. I love these photos!
I predict the couple in the top middle photo will probably have a very lively, outspoken marriage.
As for all the other pictures, I bet they framed them! They’re beautiful!

Hi there.
Center one is my favorite as well! Just love the pure happiness. Thanks for leaving your comment and letting me find it.
I’m glad you admitted to feelings of discomfort too. I think I shall be nervous until the bride says she found one to frame.

Are they all yours? They look so ….. professional!
I have the same issue with doing stories/interviews for our local paper. I feel so unworthy and klutzy about it.
There is a long tradition of popes wearing red shoes, but the last (humble) pope wore brown ones. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papal_shoes

These are great! I so much prefer the candid..un-posed shots than the ones that are so carefully crafted and put-together. These images tell a WHOLE story..and not just the pretty parts and pieces.
Thanks so much for stopping by…..

The photos are fantastic Janet! I especially love the top left one
I’m sorry to hear you have low self-esteem (about your photography skills?)
But it looks to me as if it doesn’t affect your ability to photograph weddings at all! The photos are wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
