Photo Hunt: Unique/Funny Signs

“What would YOU do for a steak?” This sign is both funny and unique! It should say Hilltop Steakhouse…and notice the sign in the bottom right…I couldn’t have got a funnier shot if I tried! I was driving down a very busy road when I noticed the sign and about killed myself pulling over LOL!

I thought these two signs (ok, one’s a t-shirt, but still) taken at the Union College ReUnion in 2006 would be perfect for the theme.

Some weisenheimer stuck something on the “p” in this sign

And finally, I don’t think you’d want to go swimming here, not matter how hot the day!

I hope the people who own that place with the ho’s never fix that sign! It’s TOO perfect!!!
My favorite one (which I don’t have a picture of, dammit) used to be on a bridge that was prone to flooding. It said “When Bridge is Covered High Water Exists.” D’oh!

gotta love a steak ho.
There used to be a grocery store where we lived called Herb’s Discount. The UNT always went out so it would say “Herb’s disco”…I still giggle, because if you ever saw Herb. well, let’s just say he didn’t disco!

I love the Hilltop Hos and the last one also. My hubby says thanks for the comment on my post about him being the youngest grandpa you’ve ever seen. He’s 51. His gray hair doesn’t show up in that pic much and he is blessed with a ‘baby face’.

The last one is my favorite.
Don’t think I’d even put my toes in

[...] Fond of Snape posts funny pix and becomes famous as the world’s first “Steak Ho”. My Friend the Big Brown Bear by A Packful of Candy Cigarettes. If only I had a smidgen of her creative writing ability. *sigh* Ponchartrain Pete finds luv in a brewery. Now on quest to keep the luv flowing….down his throat. Heh. 2 Millionth Web Log insults Jed and Jethro but it’s wicked funny! And my favorite story of all The Reverend Al Green at Jazz Fest. No one can touch this man — he is an evolved human being on a higher plane than most of us mere mortals – an opinion I’ve held for a long time. Take a minute to read this story – it’ll make ya feel so good! I’ve been a huge Al Green fan since way back in the day when he was badass Al Green singing luuuuv songs (as opposed to love songs) and through his conversion to The Reverend that sings the gospel – Amen, brother! So for Flashback Friday I give you a live performance of my favorite Al Green *gospel * song, “People Get Ready”. This is an amazing and uplifting video – enjoy! (And if you’re into gospel, visit Holy Ghost, Red Kelly’s gospel music blog. Happy Week-end, y’all! [...]
