Photo Challenge – Treasure and Junk
Weekly Words Challenge (#28 is where I’m jumping in) hosted by Pickled Beef; I saw it over on Jenn’s blog. Normally it’ll be posted on Tuesday, but I’m perpetually late so…suck it!
This was probably once someone’s livelihood, now turned to junk. I often see old barns in various states of disrepair and wonder how did they get that way? This one seems like it was a glorious building in its heyday.
This treasure, an Elfish love ring I bought in Edinburgh, Scotland a few (5!!! Wow, was it really that long?) years ago, never fails to put a smile on my face.

This is fun! You are so creative with your blog – and I love the photos. I always wonder that about barns and old buildings. I think that someone’s entire experience happened right there – and now it’s only a chimney or a pile of rubbish. I hope they lived well.

I always wonder about the poor old building too, but they make great subjects for photos. Good color here.

The barn photo is amazing…we see lots of old barns out here and I always kick myself because I don’t have my camera with me!!

OMG. I love your rings!! What’s crazy is, I wore one for a few years that looked just like that top ring of yours (the beaded looking one). But it was cheap and it busted and seeing yours I miss it even more! I always loved that ring….
