The weekend, Unconscious Mutterings and other things
Home safe, woohoo!
Had a great time at Pat’s, peace & quiet and LOTR. Altho…we watched POTC Friday night while eating dinner and drunking…er, drinking rum & cokes and snacking on buffalo chicken dip (omg!!!). I passed out (literally, and not from alcoholic intake, but from lack of sleep lately) around 11 or so, poor Pat had to wake me up and get me off the couch.
Saturday, I got up around 8 or so, and took a ton of pictures inside the house, mostly of Skelly posting with various things LMAO! Pat got up around 10, made eggs benedict and we settled in to watch the movies. We got halfway through the first movie when Pat’s husband got there, which I think made Pat not so comfortable with the marathon as he really doesn’t care for those movies. We made it through the end of the second movie around 9 pm or so, after taking lunch and dinner and walk breaks (Pat’s not one that can sit there for hours on end without “doing” things) and altho mention was made of watching the third movie the next day, I knew Pat was done with it LOL!
Got up the next morning, Pat made waffles & scrambled eggs, then Jim went out for snow removal duties and since it was supposed to storm again, I took off about 11 am or so. It snowed, raining, thundered and lightning on the way home…everyone and their maiden aunt passed me on the highway.
Anyway, it was great fun, no wifi up there so, I’m catching up now. Hope you all had a great weekend, too!

I was glad you did not stop here as our driveway was not good! But I’m happy you had such a good time.

Sitting and resting like that sounds excellent. I’m not good at that when I’m at home. I love, LOVE the pictures– especially the snowy road. Wait, did I just say I loved snow? What the hell is wrong with me?
Glad you had a fantastic weekend and you’re home safe and sound.

Great weekend wrapup! I spent it blissfully with Lost, HP, and Seinfeld, between family micro-trips here and there and writing like crazy! We’re getting snow today as we all flock to the ballot boxes for our so-called pivotal primary. WooHoo!

I miss it if I can stay inside & look at it. or maybe take a (short) walk. But not if I have to shovel it. Or clean it off my car. Or drive in it. =P
