I am SO thankful that we got our power back relatively quickly after the crazy snow storm we had last Saturday! It went off at 9PM that evening and came back around 430 PM on Sunday. The temp inside didn’t dip much below 65 degrees, and the dogs were fine while we sought warmth (and coffee!).

I’m also thankful I made it home from New Hampshire the day of the storm in one piece! Dave’s sister, Sue and I went to Pickity Place up in Mason, NH that day. We had a 3:30 seating reserved, and the storm wasn’t supposed to start til 5 or thereabouts, so we thought we were golden. Yeah. As soon as we got there, it started snowing. Hard!

And…our seating was delayed til 4…then 4:15…then 4:30. By the time we were done, it had been snowing heavily and there was quite a bit of accumulation. This place is located deep in the woods, so it was quite interesting trying to get out LOL! Hills, narrow roads, snow drifts…I was happy Sue was driving. Course…then I had a half hour drive home from her place, where I’d left my car. Which is a Honda Civic Si, small, sporty, not exactly great in snow. I white knuckled it home and arrived in one piece!
