And…here we go!
1. Laughter is good for the soul.
2. “just so cute!” are the three words that started off the last email I sent.
3. What I’m most looking forward to today is going into Somerville to see Jaws with Dave.
4. Nice things that friends do puts a smile on my face.
5. Where in the world are the donuts this morning?
6. Last night with Pat enjoying a impromptu dinner on the beach and then going to see Lewis Black was just what I needed!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to dinner and a movie, tomorrow my plans include going to see a concert (James Montgomery Band) and Sunday, I want to take a ride with Dave!
This is what was “just so cute!”, courtesy of Dave!

Come play along at the Thursday-13 Hq!
Right now! (borrowed from Dawn)
1. I am thinking… about many things…a friend who’s trying to get pregnant, a friend who’s going on a big trip for the first time, a friend who’s coming to feed & walk my dogs tonight, so I don’t have to rush home.
2. I am thankful for… the love in my life.
3. From the kitchen… came liver with bacon & caramelized onions, baked potato & veggies…YUM!
4. I am wearing… a meaningful set of 3 rings my sweetheart gave me (his birthstone, my birthstone and a moonstone because my sun sign and his moon sign are both Cancer, which is ruled by the moon).
5. I am creating… good memories.
6. I am going… to see Lewis Black up at Hampton Beach tonight with my friend Pat!
7. I am reading… Death’s Excellent Vacation, a collection of short stories about paranormals on vacation from some great authors, including Charlaine Harris.
8. I am hoping… that Dave found someone to use the two extra tickets I have for the James Montgomery concert this Saturday.
9. I am hearing… the hum of the AC, the creaking of my chair and my fingers on the keyboard.
10. Around the house… there are lots of things to be done, like vacuuming, sorting, putting away & rearranging.
11. One of my favorite things… the smell of autumn approaching!
12. A few plans for the rest of the week… a few kisses, a couple of hugs, possibly a cook out at my brother’s, a concert and who knows what else! Life is good
13. A picture to share…

And here’s a top view:

Reb was the first one to get it: “I am going with an old water shut off valve.”

Just another Manic Monday!
What are 5 things you want to do in your life? Well, at my advanced age, I’ve done many of the things I wanted…and those that I didn’t do (have kids springs to mind), well, let’s just say the time for that is long past LOL! But…here goes:
1. Go back to Paris
2. Go back to Japan
3. Travel across the US
4. Kiss Johnny Depp (chastely, of course, just on the cheek)
5. Clean out my closets!
What are you saying goodbye to? Negativity and drama.
What are you currently fascinated with? hehehe, can’t say here. But it’s not THAT, so get your minds out of the gutter.
Man, what a weekend! Went to a Greek festival at a local church Friday and had pastichio, stuffed grape leaves, spanakopita and baklava…sooooo good!
Saturday, we tossed a coin to either go to a local flea market or take a drive up the coast. The drive won and we headed to Maine…it was a gorgeous day! We stopped at Nubble Light to take some pictures and I realized my battery was almost out. We sat on the rocks in the sun for a bit and watched the divers. We also walked around York a bit and had our palms read. That was wicked interesting! I wanted to walk the cliffs at Ogunquit, but I was really hungry by then and we went to Kennebunkport and enjoyed a seafood platter. We were tempted to spend the night up in Maine, but I couldn’t find anyone to feed and walk the dogs. Oh well!
Sunday, I went with Dave to his grandson’s baptism. Met his daughter and her family…also Dave’s ex and her husband, her parents, & her sister. We had a great time, and I took some nice shots of his grandson being dunked in the lake where they had the baptism. What a great kid! Had dinner at the Common Man afterward … nice end to a fun weekend.
How was your weekend?
