Lots of you got it right this week, here’s the first three:
- Kcinnova: “Either an alien footprint or a really strange mushroom…”
- Amber: “some type of fungi?”
- Kaye: “I’m also going to guess a mushroom, it looks like it’s in a wood pile. fun game.”

Just another Manic Monday…
What is the longest time you’ve gone with your Internet not working in your home? Funny you should ask that…the monitor in my desktop died recently and I couldn’t turn off the computer, so I unplugged it…and inadvertently unplugged the modem LMAO! Took me an hour or so to figure it out.
How many email addresses do you regularly use? Two. No, three.
Are you able to access the Internet on your phone? If so, how frequently do you use it? Yup, not too frequently…I don’t see the need.
Went to the beach today and took a few photos…thought I’d share this one:

The first book I choose for the R.I.P. IV challenge was The Magicians by Lev Grossman; I absolutely did not like it. This blurb was what made me pick it up – “The Magicians is to Harry Potter as a shot of Irish Whiskey is to a glass of weak tea. Well, I never did care for whiskey, so… And thankfully, this other blurb is quite true: “Hogwarts was never like this.” Whiny, superior teens…gah! I gave it away to a lady in the radiation waiting room at MGH. And that’s my review
I’m reading stories in By Blood We Live, which Alice is helping me with and Alice and I started “The Sisters” today. My fourth book could be Lisey’s Story by Stephen King…or possibly Dexter In The Dark…or maybe Vampire Stories from New England, a gift from my lovely friend Monique. I’ll let you know!
Oh, and if you’re wondering who Alice is:
This is Alice — she’s my newest poppet!
