I love impromptu things! Today I was supposed to go see the movie “A Scanner Darkly”; instead, I ended up in Newburyport with Krista and my camera.

Here’s a bit of what we did/saw:

1. spicy calimari with a sweet mustard sauce, to DIE for!; 2. extra dirty martini
3. reve du chocolat; 4. Krista enjoying reve du chocolat
5. sparkly things in a window design; 6. sign inside a cedar chest (it says moth insurance policy)
7. a ring Krista tried on in an estate shop; 8. a sea turtle kite

One of the best chocolate things ever!!! It’s a dessert at a restaurant called The Black Cow in Newburyport, MA. While I’m not that much of a sweets lover (I prefer savory things), this is melt in your mouth goodness!
