MaryEllen: Riddle me this…what looks like Max, but with long hair and a va-gina?
me: Ummm…er…did you say va-gina?
MaryEllen: Yes, get over it! Do you want to guess or should I just tell you?
me: Um…I have NO idea, so you’d better tell me!
MaryEllen: I got a new dog! She’s 9 months old and her name is Chloe!

Isn’t she adorable!!!

I think I met a vampire in the woods today! He appeared out of nowhere, the dogs didn’t even sense him and they always go still or bark when they see someone in the woods; he had on a tee shirt, long sleeved plaid shirt over that and another long sleeve heavy shirt on top of the plaid one, a baseball cap, sunglasses, long pants. He said “It’s almost time for me to be out of the sun.”
Vampire…I’m tellin’ ya!

So this morning I went to brush my teeth and I noticed that there was no hot water. Damn! My hair needed to be washed SO bad, figures right? I took a quick cold shower, washing the important parts and hoped for the best.
What I didn’t remember at the time was that I had an appointment with my dermatologist today. I hate going to the doctor’s office without being clean!!! They did a full body check for any abnormalities on my skin; the reason I had the appointment was because I’d noticed a abnormality on my arm, just to the right of my tattoo. At first I thought it was a scratch, and then I forgot about it. When I noticed it again, I thought…oh, another scratch (Wolf plays rough sometimes) and didn’t think any more of it. Third time’s the charm; when I saw my primary care doc in Feb, I mentioned it to her and she thought I should get it checked out.
Today the resident working with the dermatologist did a biopsy on it, injecting the site with some lidocaine (why can’t I get that before I get tattooed???) and then slicing off a piece of it. If it’s good news, I’ll get a letter in a couple weeks; bad news, a phone call in a week. The resident was cracking me up, talking about a friend of his who is also a doctor that has a huge dragon tattoo on his back, multiple piercing and something about liking to dress up (I think he meant in leather, maybe an S&M dealio). He was hysterical!
Anyway, I’m sure it’s nothing!
Tomorrow the new hot water heater arrives; I pity the guys installing it. The cellar is tiny and scary (spiders!).
