The Shutter Sisters said: “Have you ever captured something so simple, so sparing that embodied so much emotion? Do share something today that quietly stirs you[r] soul.”
And so I share this picture:

“…the William Preston Lane, Jr., Memorial Bridge, more popularly known as the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. It is near Annapolis and connects the Baltimore/Washington, DC metro area to Maryland’s eastern shore via routes US 50 / US 301. There is an engineering marvel called the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, that does span the southern end of Chesapeake Bay, which connects the DelMarVa peninsula to the Norfolk, Virginia area via US 13.”
I took this shot from a plane on my way from Boston to BWI. I love the intense blue and ghostly feel to this shot. Hope you all have a great weekend!
